Rear Spring

Help. Corvette 78′ fiberglass rear spring. or Steel?
firstly sorry about my bad English.
Well my corvette has fiberglass rear spring and is not working. I don’t how to say (vencido) a guy told me that i can make the conversion to Steel Blade Spring. My Questions is ?It is going to work in my model or this affect in something…rear-front shocks, stability. Help me please.
I don’t know if you are in the US, but if you are, I wouldn’t recommend having someone make you a spring. There are companies that sell both steel and fiberglass Rear Springs. Vette Brake & Products make some of the best fiberglass springs. They also carry replacement steel springs.

Check out Ecklers, MidAmerica, and Year One for their selection of springs, also. I got mine from Ecklers, and it is actually from VBP.
Even if you are not in the US, these companies usually will ship internationally, as the Corvette is very popular all over the world.
These springs are engineered for your car, so you should not have issues with stability, handling etc. unless there are other problems in your suspension, such as other worn out parts, or poor alignment.
